Pep Guardiola has agreed to become Bayern Munich’s new coach.
The Bavarian giants have announced that the former Barcelona boss will succeed Jupp Heynckes in June on a three-year contract.
Guardiola has been out of work since standing down as Barcelona coach at the end of last season.
The Spaniard is spending a year in New York, recharging his batteries with his family.

Now he will return to take the reins at Bayern Munich in good time for the 2013/14 campaign.
The German club announced: "Perfect! Pep Guardiola from July to 2016 new manager of FC Bayern Munich. Heynckes finishes his career at the end of the season."
For Bayern Munich, capturing Guardiola’s signature is a coup.
The Spaniard is the most sought-after free agent boss in world football at present.
He has been strongly linked with a move to the English Premier League, where Chelsea and Manchester City are his chief suitors.
