Liverpool have made contact with the agent of Mexican goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa, who will decide what his next move is to be at the end of the season.
Ochoa is under contract at Ajaccio until the summer of 2014, but there has been interest from bigger clubs in his services, with Liverpool amongst those to have enquired about the 27-year-old’s future plans.
Indeed, while the Mexico shot-stopper insists there is not yet anything concrete on his future, he has raised the prospect of a switch to one of Europe’s very biggest clubs.
"My agent has had contact with Liverpool, but there is nothing concrete", Ochoa was quoted as saying by bold.dk.

"I hope there will be some options for the summer and I will assess whether it is the right time to leave Ajaccio.
"It will be difficult to choose between Liverpool, Milan, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Inter, Bayern and Dortmund. It all depends on how things play out.
"Then I will choose what suits me best."
Ochoa has won 50 caps at international level with Mexico and has impressed in France at Ajaccio, a side he joined in the summer of 2011.
The 27-year-old appears keen to take his next step in the game and progress to a bigger club. He surely will have the chance to do just that in time for the 2013/14 campaign.
