Manchester City striker John Guidetti has fingered a hat-trick last season for Feyenoord as the best 15 minutes of his footballing career.

The powerful Swedish striker spent the whole of last season on loan at the Rotterdam giants and ended up with a goal tally of 20 in 23 Eredivisie games.

Feyenoord were desperate to keep Guidetti for the current campaign, but could not persuade Manchester City to allow him to return to De Kuip and instead signed Graziano Pelle, who is also excelling.

Guidetti though has very fond memories of his time in Holland.

Asked by Manchester City’s official site to name the best 15 minutes of his life, he replied: "That’s very tricky, but if we’re talking football, it would probably be the 15 minutes where I scored three goals against FC Twente in the first half of an Eredivisie league game.

"Those 15 minutes were pretty amazing."

Guidetti has struggled with the effects of an injury picked up last season in the current campaign. The Swede will be bidding to feature for Roberto Mancini’s men before the end of the season.
