Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp states that while Joey Barton is playing “good football” at Marseille, Redknapp insists that he has his own players to focus on and take care of.
Barton recently revealed that Redknapp wants him back at Loftus Road, but he is keen to stay in France.
Barton, a QPR player who is on loan at Marseille, is doing decently at the French side, scoring one goal and providing three assists in 24 matches in all competitions for the Ligue 1 club.
“He’s playing good football in Marseille at the moment”, Redknapp said in a press conference via his club’s feed, when he was asked whether the reports Barton was being missed by the players were true. “But I’ve got my own team to work on.

“I have [Andros] Townsend, who has been in outstanding form, a great young kid. I also have [Loic] Remy, who’s great around the place, a good professional."
Redknapp believes his side still have a chance to avoid the drop if his players commit to the job. “You have to work, if you’re not working you don’t have a team”, he said.
QPR are due to clash with fellow London club Fulham at Craven Cottage this Easter Monday.
