AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has stamped on transfer chatter suggesting that the Italian giants want to sign Julio Cesar from QPR.

Brazilian goalkeeper Cesar has been the bright spot in QPR’s troubled season in the English Premier League, and he has been linked with leaving Loftus Road.

The 33-year-old joined QPR last summer from Inter and it had been suggested he could make a quick return to Milan, this time to play for the Rossoneri.

Galliani insists that is not the case though.

"He is a very good goalkeeper", the Milan transfer supremo told Sky Sport Italia.

"But I deny having had any negotiations with him or with QPR."

It remains to be seen if Cesar will remain with QPR if they are relegated this season.
