Young Schalke 04 playmaker Julian Draxler is on Real Madrid’s list of potential summer transfer targets, according to Spanish daily Marca.
Draxler, despite being just 19 years of age, is already considered the powerhouse of Schalke’s squad in his role behind the strikers. The Germany international has already made a total of 35 appearances for the club in all competitions, 26 of those in the current Bundesliga campaign, where he has only missed three league matches, clocking up eleven goals and five assists along the way.
And Los Blancos are keen to bring this young talent to the Santiago Bernabeu this summer. However, the Spanish giants are not the only ones interested in Draxler, as Inter and Juventus are also keeping tabs on the starlet’s situation.
Draxler, for his part, has not expressed any desire to leave the Veltins Arena, but may reconsider this stance should Schalke not clinch a Champions League spot this season.
