French giants Paris Saint-Germain are believed to have entered the race for the signature of FC Porto’s highly-rated Colombian forward James Rodriguez, according to Mercato365.

Rodriguez is one of Porto’s prize assets and his performances have won recognition – the Colombian international has had a hand in 19 goals of the club’s goals (10 scored, nine assisted) this season, productivity that PSG are looking to add to their ranks.

But the Ligue 1 big shots will certainly face stiff competition from their opposite number in England, Manchester United. Indeed, the Red Devils have made their intent crystal-clear that they have their crosshairs fixed on Rodriguez. They have even sent scouts to Portugal just to monitor the situation with the Porto winger.

In a more shocking revelation that will surely make PSG at least give their hunt on Rodriguez a second-thought, the Red Devils are thought to have made a €35M offer for the 21-year-old, but Porto refused to take the money.
