PSV Eindhoven coach Dick Advocaat has tipped Manchester City and Manchester United as suitable destinations for Kevin Strootman this summer.
Advocaat is torn between wanting the midfielder to remain at the Philips Stadion to help PSV end their Eredivisie title drought and feeling that moving to a bigger club would be better for the 23-year-old’s development.
"For PSV, it would be good if he stayed, but for Strootman himself it is better to leave", the 65-year-old tactician explained to Dutch daily De Telegraaf.
"This guy could fit in anywhere. He is a great player because he knows exactly what his qualities are", Advocaat added.

And the former Rangers boss, who knows all about the cut and thrust of British football, feels that Strootman may well end up at one of the Manchester giants, despite having been linked with Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.
"I think he could go and do well at Manchester City and Manchester United.
"Strootman is not worth less than Gareth Barry. He would be of great value for each team. Especially when he is surrounded by better players."
