Fulham have signed Koln defender-cum-midfielder Sascha Riether on a permanent deal.
“1.FC Koln midfielder Sascha Riether moves to Fulham FC”, a statement on the German club’s official site stated.
“Fulham have activated their option to purchase the 30-year-old", Koln added.
The 30-year-old Germany international, who can also play as a defender, was loaned to the Cottagers last summer on a season-long deal.

He has since made 38 appearances for the club in all competitions and has been an integral part of manager Martin Jol’s side.
Riether has scored once and provided six assists.
"Thanks to Koln", Riether said. "The club and the city have become close to my heart.
“Now I am looking forward to my next full season in England at Fulham. I wish Koln only the best and imminent promotion to the Bundesliga."
Koln are fifth in the 2.Bundesliga at present with one game left to play and are out of the running for promotion.
