The agent of Inter full-back Alvaro Pereira has insisted that, despite hearing much talk that Tottenham Hotspur want his client, he has yet to receive an approach from the English Premier League giants.
The Uruguay international enjoyed a good relationship at former club FC Porto with Andre Villas-Boas, who subsequently tried to buy him from the Portuguese outfit when he took over at Chelsea.
Now at Tottenham, Villas-Boas has been widely tipped as being ready to rekindle that interest in the 27-year-old.
But Pereira’s agent Flavio Perchman has nothing concrete to report.

"I read a lot of false information", he told Tutto Mercato.
"There is much talk of Tottenham, but personally I do not know anything.
"He has a contract with Inter and will respect it."
Pereira made 28 appearances in Serie A for Inter this season, while he also featured nine times for the Nerazzurri in the Europa League.
The rampaging full-back’s contract with the Italian side runs until 2016.
