Ajax playmaker Christian Eriksen has reiterated that he does not know anything about his supposed move to Ruhr giants Borussia Dortmund, adding that all the news he gets is from the media.
Eriksen’s name has made the headlines recently as his signature is being chased by top clubs in Europe, with the likes of Liverpool, Inter Milan and Borussia Dortmund all tipped to be interested.
Ajax have had their hands full in the past months trying to play down talk circuating that Eriksen’s departure is a done deal. Once, the club’s press officer had to come out and vehemently deny reports that the Danish playmaker had already done a deal with Liverpool.
More recently, it was Ajax director of football Marc Overmars’ turn to wave off the allegations surrounding Eriksen’s future linking him with a move to Dortmund.

Eriksen, for his part, can only laugh off the claims. "I still haven’t heard anything [about my future]. I can only continue to read the newspaper", he told Bold.
But reading the dailies does not seem to do the footballer any good, especially when he knows that such stories he reads are not accurate.
"If there turns out to be something real written in the news, then it could be a bit silly for me [not to read them]. But I do read them and hear the stories, too. So far, there’s been nothing which has been entirely true", Eriksen further explained.
