Liverpool forward Luis Suarez has agreed a four-year deal with Real Madrid, according to Spanish daily Marca, though no deal has yet been thrashed out between the clubs.

Just hours after club president Florentino Perez revealed that he admired the Uruguayan, reports indicate that a deal – as yet unconfirmed – has been struck between the agents of both Suarez and Perez, respectively.

Suarez’s contract at Liverpool is believed to contain a €47m buyout clause, and it remains to be seen if Real Madrid are prepared to come to terms with the price.

Suarez had today claimed "it would be difficult to say no" if Los Blancos came calling with an offer, adding that the he was "suffering at the unfair treatment" from the press in England.
