Mario Gomez is to swap Bayern Munich for Napoli this summer, according to German daily Bild.
The Germany international has seen himself slip down the striking pecking order at the Allianz Arena this season, with Mario Mandzukic and Thomas Muller preferred by coach Jupp Heynckes.
And Bayern Munich, who have won a treble of Bundesliga, German Cup and Champions League this season, are expected to tie up the signing of Poland international Robert Lewandowski from Borussia Dortmund when the transfer window opens again.
The path is therefore open for Gomez to depart.
