Hannover president Martin Kind has revealed that Norwegian striker Mohammed Abdellaoue’s desire is to make a switch to Stuttgart, and the club will help the player in pursuing his ambition.

Abdellaoue, 27, arrived at the Bundesliga side in the summer of 2010, and has nodded in a total of 29 goals out of 80 appearances in the top tier of German football in three seasons.

He clocked up 35 appearances for the Reds in the 2012/13 season, scoring nine times.

Although the player has a contract at the AWD-Arena until next summer, his aim is to make a switch to Stuttgart this summer.

“Stuttgart can start counting the days until they have Abdellaoue”, Kind told reporters.

“We know he wants to go to Stuttgart, and we want to contribute to his desire.”

Kind also stressed that the negotiations about the transfer fee between the parties will not be a problem, and he is willing to let the Swabians know about the player’s desire to make a switch.

“I’m going to call Stuttgart as soon as possible and it will be no later than next week.

“This is not a Turkish bazaar, and we’re not going to argue about a transfer fee”, he added.

Stuttgart finished 12th in the Bundesliga this season, with 43 points – two less than ninth-placed Hannover.
