Roma technical director Walter Sabatini has explained that there is a "90% chance" that the club’s new coach will not be an Italian.
The Giallorossi have been linked with a number of tacticians as they bid to appoint a new boss ahead of pre-season, with the Serie A side aiming to have the new man in place by the middle of next week.
Former France coach Laurent Blanc and current Lille boss Rudi Garcia are widely seen as the frontrunners for the role and Sabatini does not expect the position to go to an Italian.
"The new coach should be presented by the middle of next week", he told reporters.
