Highly sought-after Napoli centre-forward Edinson Cavani has made public his plan to decide on his future after this summer’s Confederations Cup.
Cavani is a hot commodity, with top clubs likes Chelsea, Real Madrid and Manchester City having the Uruguayan goalscorer in their crosshairs. Indeed, Chelsea have already made contact with Napoli over the striker.
Indeed, Cavani’s exploits last season deserve attention. The Napoli centre-forward scored a total 38 goals in his 43 appearances for the club in all competitions.
But despite the incessant interest, Cavani intends to take some time to gather his thoughts, telling Gazzetta dello Sport, "Things are a bit uncertain at the moment.
"But for now I am a Napoli player and my focus is [Uruguay’s] World Cup qualification and the Confederations Cup. Then I’ll decide what to do."

Cavani has also admitted that he is unsure of the plans the club’s new manager, Rafael Benitez, has for him.
"I do not know if the arrival of Benitez will affect my future.
"I have a contract with Napoli, but at the same time, I did talk with other teams", Cavani added.
Cavani’s contract with Napoli sees him locked down at the Stadio San Paolo until the end of the 2016/17 campaign.
