FC Nordsjaelland defender Jores Okore has revealed that the Premier League club he turned down an offer from in January was none other than Chelsea.
Okore recently lifted the lid on having refused an offer from an English side during the last transfer window – and now he has come clean over just who made the approach for his services.
"In January, I turned down an offer from Chelsea because it did not fit in with my plans for the future", the 20-year-old explained to Danish TV channel TV2.
"I wanted to play in the first team, but this was not possible."

Okore will not rule out the possibility of ending up at Stamford Bridge at some point though.
"This decision, however, does not stop me from going to Chelsea in the future", he said.
Okore has attracted attention from other Premier League clubs in the past, including Manchester United and Liverpool.
He was though turned down by Borussia Dortmund, who told a former Denmark international that recommended the player to the club that he was three centimeters too small to be considered as a potential central defender.
