Aston Villa have confirmed that they are in talks with Danish side Aalborg over signing forward Nicklas Helenius.
The English Premier League side believe that they can complete a deal to sign Helenius within the next ten days.
"Aston Villa can confirm that the club are in negotiations with Aalborg BK for the transfer of Danish forward Nicklas Helenius", they announced.
"The club expects to conclude the deal, subject to a medical and personal terms, in the next 10 days."

The 22-year-old is a product of Aalborg’s youth system and has risen through the ranks at the club.
He has represented Denmark at international level, winning two caps for Morten Olsen’s men. The forward made his Denmark debut last year against Slovakia.
