Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has dropped a big hint regarding the direction his future could take, by admitting a desire to play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo.
Real Madrid have been heavily linked with the Uruguayan, who is currently on a 10-match ban for biting an opponent, but Liverpool have insisted he is not for sale.
However, Suarez’s comments about being unfairly treated by the English media have caused a stir in the transfer circles, with reports of a four-year deal having surfaced.
Los Blancos president Florentino Perez has also expressed a liking for the mercurial forward, and Suarez today returned the favour somewhat.
