Brazilian goalkeeper Julio Cesar, who plays for Championship side Queen Park Rangers, has been offered to Serie A giants AC Milan, according to Sky Italia.

Ambitious QPR signed esar from San Siro outfit Inter Milan in the final days of the summer transfer window last year, with him immediately making an impact in the first team at Loftus Road.

But with QPR relegated to the Championship, Cesar’s future with the London club has been thrown into doubt. Indeed, club manager Harry Redknapp has admitted that the custodian would not fit in the Championship, as he is a respected Brazilian international.

Cesar himself is unsure if QPR will be in his future plans, and revealed he has already made contact with a number of clubs in an effort to seek a move away from Loftus Road.

Neighbours Arsenal are believed to be in pole position to sign Cesar, as the Gunners look for a sturdy and trustworthy goalkeeper to replace inconsistent Woljcech Szczesny.

But Cesar has been offered to AC Milan, who have been credited with some interest in the Brazilian keeper in the past, although the Italian side had since then rubbished such claims.

Cesar has a contract with QPR that sees him locked down at Loftus Road until the end of the 2015/16 campaign.
