The saga surrounding Malaga star Isco’s future destination has been narrowed down to a contest between the mights of Real Madrid and Manchester City, according to the player.
As if competing in the final of the European Under-21 Championship against Italy was not pressure enough, Spaniard Isco has admitted that offers from the two clubs have presented themselves.
For a player who has also been linked with Monaco, Arsenal, Chelsea and Bayern Munich, choosing Manchester City could be very likely given his new-found connection with the Citizens.
Isco hailed his former Malaga manager Manuel Pellegrini as his ‘footballing father’, with the coach since having taken over at Manchester City from Roberto Mancini.

Isco has not revealed his own preference, but told AS: "The offers [from Real Madrid and Manchester City] have been on the table for some time. I hope to decide soon because I am still contracted with Malaga.
"I have made it clear that both Manchester City and Real Madrid are two great clubs. I want this to end up as good as possible for both me and Malaga."
While Real Madrid made their interest clear back in May, Isco does hold special regard for Pellegrini, which could see the pendulum shift towards the Etihad.
"It is true that Pellegrini and I know each other", Isco added. "I know how he works and he has been instrumental in my career so far in the two years that I have been at Malaga with him.
"It’s a plus that we two have always been in agreement with each other and know how things work, but nothing is definitive."
