Former Bayern Munich forward Roque Santa Cruz is on the radar of Bundesliga side Hamburg, and his agent has revealed that there is a possibility the German club can acquire his services.

The Paraguay international has been at English Premier League side Manchester City since the summer of 2009, and was subsequently sent on loan spells to Blackburn Rovers as well as La Liga sides Real Betis and Malaga.

The 31-year-old’s contract with the Citizens expires at the end of this month and Hamburg can sign him on a free transfer.

“The possibility is there for Hamburg. Roque had a brilliant time in Germany”, Jan van Baal, the player’s agent, told German daily Bild.
