Edinson Cavani’s representatives are due to meet Chelsea officials on Friday to discuss the player’s potential transfer to Stamford Bridge, according to Tutto Mercato.
The Uruguayan hitman has already been the subject of two bids from the Europa League winners this summer, but both have been turned down by his current club Napoli.
Indeed, the Italian side’s president Aurelio De Laurentiis has insisted that Chelsea and any other interested party must meet Cavani’s €63m release clause for a transfer to take place.
Cavani is currently in Brazil with the Uruguay national team for the ongoing Confederations Cup.
