Real Madrid are preparing to announce Carlo Ancelotti as their new manager on 3rd July, as long as Paris Saint-Germain can find a replacement before that date, according to L’Equipe.
Ancelotti, who officially has a year left on his PSG contract, has made no secret of wanting the Real Madrid job, but will have to wait until his club can confirm a successor.
It is understood that PSG are heavily interested in the idea of Fabio Capello, currently coaching Russia, taking on the task with a €3m release clause enough to bring the Italian over.
If all goes to plan, Real Madrid are hoping to officially unveil Ancelotti as the successor to Jose Mourinho on 3rd July, a move designed for tax-related reasons.
