Atletico Mineiro starlet Bernard has admitted he felt "proud" when he had heard of FC Porto’s interest in him, adding that the Portuguese giants are a "good organisation".
Bernard, 20, is proving to be a gold mine of talent with Brazilian side Mineiro. Indeed, the young winger already has five goals under his belt in his 20 appearances for the club in all competitions, including in his games domestically.
At such a young age, the Brazilian footballer may turn out to be a wise investment. True enough, London heavyweights Tottenham Hotspur are already gearing to sign Bernard and bring his raw talent to White Hart Lane, although Champions League finalists Borussia Dortmund are also believed to be pondering a swoop for the youngster.
But it is FC Porto who have come to crash the two-team duel for Bernard, something that the player would not find deterring at all, telling A Bola, "Porto is a very good club, with good organisation and they always play in the Champions League. That makes me proud that they are interested."

A fellow Brazilian, Hulk, had spent quite a considerable time with Porto, making a name for himself with the Portuguese giants – something Bernard is looking to emulate.
"When I heard about the interest of Porto, I immediately thought of Hulk, who has had many successes with that club.
"I’ve already spoken with him about Porto and he has told me all [I needed to know] about the club. He told me that they are a very large and organised club – this he said positively", Bernard concluded.
The winger also admitted however that "It’s hard to tell if I have a preference for Porto. The other top clubs are interested."
