Andre Villas-Boas has insisted that Tottenham Hotspur do not want to sign Jackson Martinez from FC Porto.

Spurs have been linked with making a bid for the Colombian hitman, but Villas-Boas, who counts Porto amongst his previous clubs, has moved to crush the speculation.

Questioned at a racing event at the Boavista circuit, Villas-Boas told O Jogo: "Do I want Jackson Martinez? No."

Martinez was snapped up by Porto in the summer of 2012 from Mexican side Jaguares.
