Arsenal attacking midfielder Santi Cazorla believes the Premier League title race will remain as difficult as always in the upcoming season, despite the managerial changes at several clubs this summer.

One of the highlights of this summer has been the appointment of former Everton manager David Moyes as the new boss of Manchester United. Moyes succeeds veteran Scotsman Sir Alex Ferguson at the club, who himself enjoyed a managerial reign of a whopping 26 years at Old Trafford.

“The most radical change is at Manchester United because Ferguson has been there for so long”, Cazorla told the official Arsenal Magazine.

“It will be a little difficult at the start for a new manager but I don’t think it influences too much in terms of being an advantage for other teams.

“There are great managers at those clubs and I’m sure [the title race] will be just as difficult.”

The Spaniard made his debut in the English Premier League with Gunners last season, as Arsene Wenger’s side finished fourth in the league.

Cazorla, who was snapped up from Malaga last summer, received rave reviews for his displays in the 2012/13 season, as he clocked up 38 appearances in the league and picked up 12 goals and assists.

Manuel Pellegrini, his former coach at Malaga, took over as the manager of Manchester City this summer, and the schemer feels that the Chilean tactician will make the Citizens a better team.

“He [Pellegrini] has demonstrated he is top class. At whatever team he’s been at – Malaga, Villarreal, Real Madrid – he’s done well.

“He’s had those teams playing spectacular football and I’m sure City will be a better team. I’m sure City’s football will change and will be more offensive”, he added.
