AC Milan have reached an agreement with Keisuke Honda, but it is not yet clear when the Japan international will arrive in Italy.

Honda’s contract at current club CSKA Moscow expires at the end of December and he has agreed to join Milan on 1st January, 2014, if the Rossoneri do not opt to make the transfer a reality before that.

According to Sky Italia, Honda will join the Serie A side for four years on a contract worth €2.5m per season.

Milan could decide to bring Honda’s acquisition forward, if they can reach an agreement with CSKA Moscow.

A deal would also depend on Robinho leaving the Rossoneri.

The forward has been linked with returning to his native Brazil, but nothing has yet been signed and sealed.

Robinho’s most likely destination appears to be former club Santos.
