AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has furthered the Rossoneri’s attempts to capture CSKA Moscow midfielder Keisuke Honda, by revealing that a meeting with the player’s agent has been set up.
Reports had surfaced yesterday that Honda had agreed to a move to Milan, on a deal expected to be worth €2.5m in annual salary.
Milan are yet to confirm if Robinho will be offloaded to Santos in order to facilitate Honda’s arrival, with the Brazilian understood to be unfazed by a potential cut to his salary.
However, Honda will be looking at a January move next year if the move cannot be completed prior to that.

There has been little word on whether CSKA Moscow are fully open to letting Honda leave before his contract ends in December this year.
However Galliani was quoted by Gazzetta dello Sport as saying: "I consider Honda a great playmaker. I can’t predict the future, but for now an appointment with [Honda’s agent and brother] Hiro is already fixed for the coming weeks."
According to Sky Italia, Honda was expected to be offered a four-year deal with Milan.
The Japan international helped CSKA Moscow win the Russian league title last season, thanks to his 23 league games and seven goals.
