Kuban Krasnodar are one of four teams vying for defender Douglas, according to his agent, as the Dutchman continues to be a free agent since leaving FC Twente in the summer.
The Russian club recently acquired former Queens Park Rangers striker Djibril Cisse on a one-year deal, and are in line to snap up Douglas who spent six years at Twente.
Douglas was heavily courted earlier this year, as Newcastle United, Inter Milan, Reading and Anzhi Makhachkala were sniffing around.
However, his agent Rodrigo da Silveira today revealed a club each in England, Germany, Turkey and Russia were back on the market for his client.

"Currently Douglas is in Brazil", Silveira told Russian daily Izvestia. "After a meeting with him, we will decide on his future.
"Indeed, we have some interesting offers. We have four offers from different countries – that is England, Germany, Turkey and Russia. Unfortunately, we cannot reveal any more specifics."
Douglas had been bought by Twente in 2007 and he went on to win the Eredivisie title in 2010 under Steve McClaren as coach, in addition to the Dutch Cup the following year.
His tally for Twente stands at 243 games with 16 goals, but he was released at the end of his contract this summer and is looking for a fresh challenge.
"I think by the coming weekend we can confidently reveal the club where Douglas will continue his career", Silveira added.
"We are not interested in the money, but the ambition of the club. Douglas dreams of playing for the Dutch national team, and going to the World Cup in Brazil."
