Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has categorically ruled out selling or loaning Xherdan Shaqiri this summer.
The Swiss winger has seen his position at the Allianz Arena called into question in recent weeks, with the appointment of new manager Pep Guardiola.
German daily TZ had suggested that Liverpool were interested in Shaqiri, while the player’s former club Basel would be keen to loan the 21-year-old for next season.
But Bayern Munich powerbroker Rummenigge has wasted little time in crushing those thoughts, insisting that the winger will be staying put at the Allianz Arena.
