Liverpool and Everton have stepped up their efforts to sign Granada left-back Guilherme Siqueira, following Real Madrid intensifying their own interest in the player.
Los Blancos are understood to see the Brazilian defender as the perfect replacement for Fabio Coentrao, who is poised to be shipped out of the Bernabeu after disappointing in his two-year spell.
But despite Siqueira being more than tempted by the idea of becoming a Real Madrid player, a deal is not over the line yet.
Indeed, according to El Ideal de Granada, Liverpool and Everton are both stepping up their own efforts to sign the 27-year-old.

Siqueira has vowed to take his time to decide on his next move and will not rush into any rash decisions.
However, it looks unlikely that the defender will remain with La Liga minnows Granada, with a move up the footballing ladder appealing for the player.
Siqueira signed a new contract with Granada last summer, running until 2017 and containing a buy-out clause set at €25m.
