Real Madrid have rejuvenated their efforts to sign Geoffrey Kondogbia with a €13m bid, according to France Football, but Sevilla’s sporting director insists no offer has been forthcoming yet.
The defensive midfielder played in all of France’s games as the Under-20 side won the World Cup held in Turkey this summer.
Real Madrid’s interest goes back to when the tournament was ongoing, however, as the Spanish giants had tabled a bid for Kondogbia in June this year.
That bid had been rejected by Sevilla, who saw Kondogbia turn out 37 times for them last season in all competitions.

His performances had linked him with moves to Chelsea and Manchester United as well, with the Blues seemingly ready for a cash-plus-player deal.
Today, however, Sevilla sporting director Monchi revealed the club were not in possession of any formal approach for the player they signed from French side Lens last year.
"What I know is that Kondogbia will be returning to training on Friday and that he has a contract with Sevilla for the next four seasons", Monchi was quoted by El Desmarque Sevilla as saying.
"As of today Sevilla has had no written or formal offer for the player. That is irrefutable. Besides that there are a lot of rumours and speculation and I’m aware of them.
"For all purposes, Sevilla remain the sole decider over Kondogbia’s future."
