Liverpool targets Christian Eriksen and Toby Alderweireld are keen to show the world they are not all about the money when it comes to choosing clubs, with three Russian names seemingly rejected.
The Ajax duo have been heavily linked with moves away this summer, with clubs in the Premier League being tipped as destinations.
As always, Russian sides have been flashing their chequebooks, and according to Dutch daily De Telegraaf, the duo have been courted by no less than Zenit St. Petersburg, CSKA Moscow and Dynamo Moscow.
However, it is understood neither Eriksen nor Alderweireld is keen on a move to Russia, despite the big money apparently on offer.

The news should be a helpful boost for Liverpool who are interested in both players, especially Alderweireld who has declared Champions League football is not the biggest factor for him.
Alderweireld has already brushed off interest from Norwich, who were agonisingly close to signing him, but Everton joined the race earlier this month.
Norwich could be reigniting their interest soon, but for now Alderweireld is content to contemplate even extending his Ajax contract, to at least trigger a financial windfall for the Dutch giants in the event of a later departure.
Eriksen, meanwhile, is also on AC Milan’s wishlist and Liverpool could have their hands full in trying to sign the playmaker, especially given the Champions League factor on the table.
