Ajax defender Toby Alderweireld insists he will consider all options that come his way for a transfer this summer, as the Dutch outfit look at a bid from Russian Premier League side Spartak Moscow.

Alderweireld is at the centre of a summer transfer saga, consistently linked with English giants Liverpool, having failed to find an agreement with Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen and turning down the chance to move to Norwich City.

Now Spartak Moscow are keen to sign the Belgium international centre-back – and Alderweireld will not just dismiss their approach out of hand, promising to treat all offers for his services equally.

"I now understand that they have made Ajax an offer", he told Dutch daily De Telegraaf, speaking about a Spartak Moscow bid.

"Only when the clubs are agreed do I need to think about it.

"Anyway, I first want to focus on Belgium v France on Wednesday.

"I have always said that I will look seriously at every option and I won't say no in advance, but certainly also not yes."

Alderweireld also insists that he will not put money at the front of his thinking when deciding his next move, with Spartak Moscow ready to reward him handsomely for heading east.

"Those who know me know that I will never choose just for the money, but take account of the big picture."
