Geoffrey Kondogbia's long list of suitors could be having a re-think after suggestions the total price may run up to €31m and that the player was poised for a contract renewal.
Monaco have been the most active in Kondogbia's pursuit – tabling a rejected bid for the midfielder – whilst Manchester United, Chelsea and Real Madrid are all in the mix.
While Sevilla president Jose Maria del Nido has always maintained he will not negotiate with anyone who offers less than the €20m release clause, taxes have to be paid.
According to Estadio Deportivo, the tax for Kondogbia will be set at 55 per cent, meaning a total transfer fee in the region of €31m.

In addition, Del Nido has now indicated that a contract extension is a very real possibility, with half the player's rights already being owned by the Doyen group.
"We have already made contact with Kondogbia through [sporting director] Monchi for a contract extension with an improved offering," Del Nido was quoted as saying.
"As a result, we are not thinking about the possibility of him leaving. I have already said that there is no possibility for Sevilla to negotiate over his sale this year.
"Any club that presents the the release clause does so against Sevilla and its president. It will be considered as an act of aggression.
"If a club from abroad wants to pay the release clause then there will be taxes that will come into the operation.
"There have been many offers for him. The last one of €15m was rejected, but none of them has come from Real Madrid."
