Geoffrey Kondogbia is all set to be a Monaco player this season onwards after an agreement was reached with Sevilla over the release clause, according to Estadio Deportivo.
Monaco were already close to accepting the terms over a €20m clause – the only way Sevilla were prepared to let Kondogbia leave – and the decision has now been taken.
It is understood that the player and a Monaco representative will be present in Madrid tomorrow for the release clause deposit to be made.
The money will be deposited at La Liga headquarters, but Sevilla will only receive half of the amount as investment group Doyen hold the other half of the players' rights.

Regardless, the deal represents a job well done for Sevilla, who were not prepared for any negotiations.
Monaco had come up with a €15m offer for Kondogbia, an Under-20 World Cup winner with France, but Sevilla had flatly rejected the same.
Sevilla president Jose Maria del Nido had adopted a defensive stance over Kondogbia, insisting that bidding clubs would be treated as hostile.
And in the end, Del Nido has achieved his aim of striking a deal based on the full amount, for a player whose contract still had four years left.
The sale will come despite additional interest from Manchester United and Chelsea, with Kondogbia seemingly keen on the move at one point of time.
This season, Kondogbia has been used as a substitute in La Liga, while he was not in the squad when Sevilla played out their Europa League qualifiers against Mladost Podgorica.
