Borussia Dortmund needed no more than one viewing of Poland Under-15 international Mateusz Ostaszewski to sign him up on a youth contract, according to the player's former coach.
Ostaszewski was given a four-day trial with Dortmund back in August, after the midfielder's exploits with the youth set-ups at both Poland and club side Jagiellonia Bialystok.
However, former Poland international and current youth coach Tomasz Kulawik insists the coaches in Germany were more than keen to have him stay on longer.
It means a youth contract for Ostaszewski, who has also captained his Poland Under-15 team at one point.

And Kulawik was quoted by Reviersport as saying: "At first I thought he would go to [Dortmund] and they would observe him and then he would return.
"But after the first viewing, I stress after the first, Dortmund's youth coordinator said that Mateusz could no longer return and that they must enter into a contract with him.
"My heart is full of joy that a young player, who was my discovery, will now switch to such a big club.
"It will be difficult for Jagiellonia to replace such a gem because he is a huge talent. But Dortmund will not regret this transfer because he is worth every zloty."
Dortmund are not short of talented Polish senior players at the moment, with Robert Lewandowski, Jakub Blaszczykowski and Lukasz Piszczek part of their ranks.
