Manchester United have joined Liverpool and a number of other clubs in the hunt for Barcelona right-back Martin Montoya.
The Spaniard's current contract at the Camp Nou expires next summer and his agent has warned the Catalan giants that talks over a renewal will be "difficult" when his client is not receiving enough playing time.
Behind Dani Alves in the pecking order, Montoya's situation has alerted a whole host of clubs, who smell a January cut-price bargain.
"Inter, Napoli, Leverkusen, Dortmund and Liverpool have been interested", Montoya's agent Jose Maria Orobitg has declared, adding that "anything can happen between now and June."

Now, according to Calcio Mercato, Manchester United are attentive to Montoya's situation at the Camp Nou too.
The Red Devils are eyeing up a potential January swoop for the 22-year-old, who added this summer's European Under-21 Championship to a trophy cabinet which already included success in the 2011 edition.
Montoya collected La Liga with Barcelona last season, making 15 appearances in the Spanish top flight last term.
