Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has revealed he will be looking to sign a striker on loan in the coming days to provide his squad with depth.

According to the English tactician, Charlie Austin is the only fit striker he has in his squad, with the likes of Bobby Zamora and Junior Hoilett nursing injuries.

A possible transfer target for Redknapp could be Tottenham Hotspur's Emmanuel Adebayor, with the QPR boss already having declared his interest in acquiring the services of the Togolese target man.

"I've been pleased with [Austin], his work rate has been excellent and he leads the line well but he needs help", Redknapp said in a press conference.

"We need three set strikers, really.

"You can't play with just one striker. You can't even do that with two. You need three strikers so you can rotate the squad and to give you that option to change things with 20 minutes to go and bring on a threat.

"That's where we're at at the moment and we'll be looking to bring in at least one striker", Redknapp concluded.

QPR are set to continue their race for promotion tomorrow when they travel to Huish Park and face Gary Johnson's Yeovil Town.
