Tottenham Hotspur are ready to launch a raid on Paris Saint-Germain for promising midfielder Adrien Rabiot.

Just 18 years old, Rabiot has already shown maturity beyond his years and impressed in PSG's youth ranks, earning regular calls to France's youth international squads.

Rabiot was promoted to the senior PSG squad by then-coach Carlo Ancelotti for the 2012/13 campaign, but shipped off to Toulouse on loan for the second half of the season.

The young midfielder was recruited by Toulouse as a replacement for Moussa Sissoko, who had left to join Newcastle United.

Rabiot returned to PSG this summer and has been handed some first team football under the club's new boss Laurent Blanc.

The schemer made yet another appearance last night, as PSG squeaked a 1-0 win away at Valenciennes in Ligue 1, however he is looking for regular starting roles; all his appearances so far this term have come from the bench.

According to Le 10 Sport, should he continue to be used from the substitutes' bench, Rabiot is prepared to push for a move in January and Tottenham would be more than pleased to snap up the 18-year-old.

Rabiot is under contract at the Parc des Princes until 2015.
