Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has given his clearest hint yet that he will sign a contract extension to remain at the Emirates Stadium.
The French tactician's current contract with Arsenal expires at the end of the season and several clubs have been monitoring his situation with interest, not least Paris Saint-Germain.
But while there has been no official word on Wenger penning a new deal and the man himself conceding 17 years is a long time to manage one team, the signs seem to be pointing towards an extension.
"My future? The truth is that 17 years is a lot", Wenger told Sportmediaset.

"However, I want to do well here and I really do not want to leave. I could extend", he added.
Wenger's Arsenal have made a red hot start to the new season and sit top of the Premier League and top of their Champions League group.
The Frenchman also made use of the club's financial firepower in the summer by signing Mesut Ozil from Real Madrid for a club-record £42.5m.
