Montpellier coach Jean Fernandez has admitted that if Manchester United come knocking with a bid of €18m for playmaker Remy Cabella, the 2011/12 Ligue 1 winners will have to sell.

Manchester United have been linked with raiding the Stade de la Mosson to sign Cabella, with a figure of €18m mooted as being the offer under preparation at Old Trafford.

Montpellier boss Fernandez would love to keep hold of the talented number 10, but is well aware that if the English champions come calling with that level of offer, there will be little chance of keeping Cabella.

"He's an intelligent boy who has started really well this season", Fernandez told Reuters.

"Now, if during the winter transfer window, Manchester offers €18m as I've read, he will have to leave.

"Even if between you and me you 'kill' the team, you cannot refuse."

Cabella has so far scored five goals and provided two assists in the current campaign, proving his worth to Fernandez's side.
