Paris Saint-Germain midfield starlet Adrien Rabiot can add another English admirer to his list of fans, with Arsenal having begun to keep a close eye on his situation at the Parc des Princes.
Rabiot has already attracted attention from Arsenal's neighbours Tottenham Hotspur, who are firm fans of the 18-year-old central midfielder and have had him scouted for some time.
Rabiot's current predicament at PSG is being watched with interest by the north London duo, a situation which has only been intensified by the player's recent declaration that he will not wait as long as former team-mate Mamadou Sakho to leave the club if he is not handed a spot in the starting eleven.
The 18-year-old, who is a product of PSG's youth system and considered a link with the fans in much the same way as Sakho, said: "I don't want to live the way Mamadou Sakho did. After a while, when he realised he would not play much, he took the decision to leave and he did well."
Sakho departed boyhood club PSG to join Liverpool in the summer and Rabiot could soon have the chance to join the defender in England.
Tottenham are prepared to move for Rabiot in January given any hint that a raid would be successful and they look sure to be joined by Arsenal.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is well aware of the 18-year-old, who was consistently tipped for the top while in PSG's youth ranks.
Rabiot has started just once in Ligue 1 this season, though he has featured for the French champions six times off the bench.
