France's Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 clubs have agreed on strike action for late November to protest the proposed "super tax" being considered by the French government.
It is believed that the French government will impose a tax of 75% on salaries that cross €1m, something that will have a significant impact on higher-division football in the country.
The president of the union of professional clubs (UCPF) Jean-Pierre Louvel today said in a statement: "There will be a weekend without a game at the end of the month [of November]."
The action will mean games scheduled for the weekend around 29th November and 2nd December will be affected.

France's league governing body, the LFP, is understood to be in tandem with the UCPF, as is the players' union.
The strike action will see clashes such as Paris Saint-Germain and Lyon affected, alongside Monaco's game against Rennes.
