Tottenham Hotspur boss Andre Villas-Boas has told his team that their meeting with Hull City at White Hart Lane later today is "very important".
Villas-Boas' men welcome the Tigers to White Hart Lane for a Premier League clash this afternoon, bidding to claim three points following a Saturday which saw top four rivals Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United all register wins.
Little surprise then that the Portuguese tactician sees the match as one his side must do all they can to win.
"From all of the teams that came up, they’ve made the best start", he told his club's official site.

"This is a very important fixture for us. We hope to continue to do well after our jump back to form against Villa."
Hull will quickly return to White Hart Lane after today's match, having been drawn to face Tottenham in the fourth round of the League Cup on Wednesday.
And with that also in mind, Villas-Boas thinks Spurs have a "big week" to come.
He said: "It’s a big week for us. We started well with the 2-0 win in Moldova [in the Europa League] and hopefully we can continue against Hull."
