Manchester United boss David Moyes has admitted he is open to loaning out winger Wilfried Zaha, who is struggling to win playing time at Old Trafford.

Zaha was snapped up by the Premier League champions in January, but instantly loaned back to Crystal Palace, who he helped gain promotion to the top flight through the playoffs.

The young winger was kept at Manchester United over the summer, with Moyes opting against loaning him out.

That though may change in January, as Moyes has vowed to "look at" the player's situation at Old Trafford.

The manager told his club's official site: "I just don't think we have had the right opportunity to get him on as much as would have liked.

"We don't want to put him in too quickly. We want to make it the right time.

"I've said I would look at in January as I wanted to have him here for six months to see how we work."

And the Manchester United manager explained that Zaha has much competition in the area he plays.

"I told him we would try to get him minutes but the competition in the wide areas we have with Nani, Antonio Valencia, Ashley Young, Adnan Januzaj and even Shinji Kagawa playing off the side means we are as strong there as anywhere."
