The agent of Paris Saint-Germain playmaker Javier Pastore has left the door open for his client to quit the Parc des Princes in January, insisting he will see what "happens in the next few months".

Pastore has endured a difficult season so far this term at PSG, being criticised by a section of the club's supporters and regularly overlooked by coach Laurent Blanc for a starting spot.

The Argentine attacking midfielder has not started a Ligue 1 game for PSG since 25th September against Valenciennes, while he has also yet to appear once in the Champions League.

Pastore has been linked with English Premier League duo Arsenal and Liverpool, while Fenerbahce have publicly confirmed their interest, but his agent is in no hurry to make a decision over his client's future yet, with two months until the opening of the winter transfer window.

Marcelo Simonian told Le Parisien: "Football is made of ups and downs.

"He has also had a good time at PSG in the past.

"We'll see what happens in the coming months."

The 24-year-old clocked up 34 appearances in Ligue 1 last season, but already seems unlikely to get close to that figure in the current campaign, with continuing fringe status under Blanc.
