AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri has sounded a grim "nothing is forever" note on his future ahead of his side's clash against Genoa.
Allegri is under intense pressure at Milan, with the club down in 12th and without a win in their last four Serie A games.
The boss had already admitted to it being his most difficult period as Milan manager, and tomorrow's game could just prove a tipping point.
Allegri's contract runs out next summer, and the 46-year-old was quoted by Sky Italia as saying: "It's normal that no technician is eternal.

"In life there are cycles and that to me comes in the fourth year. Today there are young people who can aspire to coach the big teams.
"Life is cyclical. [Filippo] Inzaghi is doing well with the Primavera, [Clarence] Seedorf is still playing.
"In Italy, there are many other young coaches who will have to compete with the big teams if they are selected."
For now, Allegri is focussed on the next round of matches, with a crucial winter period leading up to the transfer window lying ahead.
"We have 13 points and we have to fix this negative return", he said. "We have to look reality in the face. It is an important month. We have seven games before Christmas and tomorrow is crucial."
