In-demand midfielder Maxime Gonalons has all but ruled out a move away from current club Lyon in the January transfer window.
Gonalons saw himself linked with Arsenal and Napoli in the summer, but opted to shun any switch away from the Stade Gerland to continue under coach Remi Garde.
Napoli especially though have not put their chase on pause until next summer and talk of a bid in January is rife in Italy.
The 24-year-old is not actively planning an exit in the winter window however.

Gonalons told beIN Sport: "I think I'll end the season at Lyon.
"At the moment I hear a lot about some clubs. There are several rumours. I try to ignore them.
"Above all I want to have a great season and take Lyon as far as possible. As for my future, we'll see at the end of the season."
It remains to be seen whether the midfielder remains at Les Gones throughout January, despite his words, with Napoli set to test Lyon's resolve to keep him.
